The Linder Auditorium, a prominent concert and cultural venue widely recognised for its acoustic merits, is situated at the Education Campus of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), 27 St Andrews Road, Parktown, Johannesburg.
The Linder Auditorium is a landmark and the recitals attract Johannesburg’s musical cognoscenti who flock here to enjoy concerts in a high quality acoustic environment. Popular for choir and dance festivals, ballets, ceremonies and a range of productions, the Linder is also the home of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra (JPO). Comprehensive catering, refreshment and bar facilities are provided by Ngamlas Cafe adjacent to the auditorium.
